Each year at the November Commencement held at Kincardine and District Secondary School, the CFUW Kincardine Club presents a bursary to a graduating female student who has gone on to pursue a post secondary education. As there were two graduating classes in 2003, two bursaries were presented.

To help raise funds for the bursary, our club gathers grocery tapes and has garage sales occasionally. We also bring books that we have finished with  to our meetings where another member can purchase a book for a loonie. Any left over books are given to the town library.

Thanks to the fund raising efforts of the calendar girls, we now have a Bursary Trust Fund which enables us to present a bursary to a mature woman who wants to return to complete her education.
